Use the traditional joinery: Mortise & Tenon, Dado

Three times hand-rubbed with Tung oil, and another two times finishing surface with Osmo top oil.
Oiled wood surfaces should be cleaned using a soft dry cloth. If additional cleaning is required, you can use a damp cloth with clean water, a mild soap flake solution or a mild cleaning agent. Always wipe in the same direction as the wood grain. When using a damp cloth, wood will need re-oiling to prevent it from drying out.
Two weeks of handcraft, and one week of finishing.
